I have a confession to make. I have a beach combing addiction. I cannot walk on the beach without staring at the sand, hoping to find the wonderful little treasures that come from the ocean . I have mason jars full of shells, and also sea glass. Every once in a while, I make jewelry out of the sea glass. I guess I feel that using it justifies me constantly adding to the collection. Last week, I got the urge to make some jewelry. I got out my soldering iron and picked through my sea glass. I had so much fun!
Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteHugs and have a great week!
Ciao!!
Simplement beau...
ReplyDeleteHeureuse de vous retrouver après mes longues semaines d'absence...
gros bisous
Just beachy!
ReplyDeleteI too am very fond of beach glass and other sea treasures. I'm addicted to looking down and picking up treasures as I walk along the beach. Love your creativity with the beach glass jewelry. I just 'had' to snatch some for myself.
ReplyDeleteI want one of those necklaces! I'm going to your etsy shop next! Sea glass is so beautiful and mysterious... I love it too! Where did each little piece come from? It brings to question the properties of glass, too. Why does the glass tumble around and wash ashore while other stuff just stays out at sea... I love the intrigue of the sea and the sand, and your pieces embody that so beautifully. Don't be surprised if there is a purchase on etsy soon!
ReplyDeleteLove the Etsy shop! I left you a message over there just now. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is PRECIOUS ! Such a lovely and original piece ! I'm a beach comber too, and have a jar full of this wonderful colored glass you find on the beach , but I never thought of making it into jewelry , awesome !
